This book will explore how an organization can build a DaaS(Desktop as a Service) solution not just from a technical perspective but also from a financial perspective. The building block approach, which is covered in great detail in, “VMware View 5 Desktop Virtualization Solutions,” serves as a technical foundation for 
the DaaS solution. However, without building a proper cost model, a technical VDI building block will likely not adhere to a profitable as-a-service model. This book will provide a framework not only for the technical considerations of DaaS, but also the financial.
